Luis Salgado - Latin Jazz/ "In The Heights"

Teacher-Choreographer. Luis Salgado play's "Jose" and is the Latin Assistant Choreographer of the new hit Broadway Musical "In The Heights" who just won BEST MUSICAL 2008 at the Tony Awards. Moved to NY in 2002 dreaming of achieving his passion of performing on a Broadway stage. As of today, Luis has performed in shows like The Mambo Kings (Frankie Suarez), Fame on 42nd Street (Joe Vegas u/s), and Aida among others. Film Credits includes: Step Up 2 The Streets (Alejandro). Dirty Dancing 2 (Diego Luna's Dance Double), Enchanted, Across the Universe, American Gangster and The Great Observer. In 2007 Luis choreographed the musicals Serenade and The Drop Outs in NYC and co-directed/choreographed the original show Mezcla in Peru. Luis has been able to assist choreographers like Maria Torres in the film Enchanted; Jamal Sims in the film Step Up 2 the Streets and is thrilled to be representing his culture as Latin assistant choreographer at In The Heights. Luis co-produced his own  DVD "Latin Fusion with Luis Salgado" and is the director of R.Evolucion Latina - DARE TO GO BEYOND!, an artistic movement that celebrates the lives, careers, triumphs and existence of all Latino artists in and out of the New York Performing Art Community.

Kevin “Tech” Bradford - Hip Hop

TECH began his dance career performing across the U.S with choreographer
Bam-Bam and his New York City-based dance crew, Nexx Level Elite. TECH, a name he acquired practicing Martial Arts for his perfect form and technique, was just 20 years old when he decided to place his higher education on hold and join this group of unique and irreplaceable dancers. He found himself attracted to the fundamental styles of Hip-Hop dance (popping, locking, waving, b-boy, boogaloo), which brought him to study under choreographers Buddha Stretch and Link of the legendary dance crew, Elite Force. Since his start in 2002, TECH has assisted famed choreographer Laurie-Ann Gibson at The Essence Music Festival in Texas, with choreography for new artists under mainstream recording Label Def Jam, and has also been featured on Season 4 of MTV’s “Making the Band” as her assistant choreographer. TECH has toured nationally with artists from Mashonda and Megan Rochell, to widely known artists Ginuwine and Ray J. You can see TECH in music videos for Mashonda and internationally known artists such as Mario (Boom), Shaggy (Wild Tonite), Beyonce (Get Me Bodied) and Sting (Stolen Car)…yes, Sting! TECH now holds a personal training diploma from the American Academy of Personal Training, and is currently pursuing a dual degree in Dance Education and Dance Science. He is the founder of AEYEOM® DANCE AND FITNESS, a company that promotes dancer health, by designing dance specific strength and conditioning programs that help dancers to achieve functional and optimal performance. He has 8 years of Martial Arts training in Tae Kwon Do, and Shotokan. TECH’s style reflects his background by fusing Street Dance/fundamental Hip-Hop, Martial Arts and fitness. He currently teaches Hip-Hop at Theater Dance Center (Flanders, NJ), and La Danse School of the Performing Arts (Linden, NJ). He occasionally teaches at the United Nations International School (NYC) and at the 92nd Street Y, Harkness Dance Center (NYC).



Liz Piccoli - Lyrical Ballet

Liz Piccoli has worked professionally as a performer, dance instructor, and choreographer for the past 10 years.  She was Co-Captain and Assistant choreographer for the Rutgers University Dance Team, earning 1st Place National Championship status televised on ESPN.  She has performed regionally in “West Side Story” with the Virginia Opera and other endeavors include choreographer for the Knicks’ City Dancers, featured swing dancer in Joe Lanteri’s “Zoot Suit Strut”, and back-up dancer for the artist PINK in a NBA commercial.  She has worked as a promotional choreographer for Broadway’s “42nd Street” and Off-Broadway’s “Fame”.  Liz has recently performed in the off-Broadway show “The Thin Line” at Dance Theatre Workshop in NYC and two seasons performing at the Metropolitan Opera’s in “Romeo and Juliet” and “The First Emperor.”  Liz’s has played Pauline in the Baltimore Lyric Opera’s production of “West Side Story,” choreographed and directed by the Tony Award Winning George Faison.  Liz’s recent choreography projects have been for Sirius Satellite Radio, Michael Turco’s Magic Show, and her brand new off-Broadway show called “Crazy Sexy Disco” (www.crazysexydisco.com) Liz’s love and passion for dance has carried her far and continues to be a force in her every day life.


Jen James - Jazz

Originally from Arizona, Jen James moved to NYC after graduating from
Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in psychology and
marketing.   Her credits span all areas of the entertainment industry and
she has danced and choreographed for recording artists, fashion shows,
videos, TV and film in addition to Off-Broadway, stage and club performances
all over the US.  In 2006 she started MIXT Dance, a dance-based
entertainment company that provides choreography and dancers for special
events and productions with clients such as Red Bull, Swagg Events and
Gentleman Jack.  Jen recently created and choreographed an interactive dance
show called "Crazy Sexy Disco" with fellow choreographers Liz Piccoli and
Svea Schneider.  She is currently teaching, performing as a dancer and
aerialist and working with her company.In the educational realm, Jen has worked with students of all ages...from pre-school to mature adults.  She has taught at Crunch, Equinox, New Dance Group, and various schools in NJ, NY and CT.  Jen teaches ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, contemporary and hip-hop classes.  She loves to integrate a range of styles into her choreography and loves to spread knowledge and create passion for dance of all styles.


Robin Passmore - Tap

  Robin Passmore has successfully transitioned from a highly decorated competition career to the professional world of dance. As a competitor, she won many first overall national solo championships, including victories at Showbiz, Dynamite, Rising Star and On Stage America. As co-owner of DVJC Dance Conservatory in Woodstown, New Jersey, her students have carried on the winning tradition, capturing regional and national honors. In addition to prize-winning choreography for her own students, she choreographs for studios in Florida and provides master classes for a wide variety of venues. She has performed in Tap Kids, the Peg Leg Bates Memorial and several Tap Extravaganza events, including the 2009 opening number choreographed by Harold Cromer. She has also appeared on Sesame Street in a segment featuring tap dancing. She currently appears in Jared Grimes’ TADAH company in Broadway Underground. Her goal is to spread her passion for dance to young people all across the country.
